AFROLOCKS

  • Afro curls are based on the fact that first the natural hair is braided into matching braids, a frame is created and strands of curls are attached to the frame with a special tiny crochet hook. The whole attachment is just braiding and tying, there are no glues or other connections such as keratin or ringlets
  • The braids come out from 12 to 16. The whole frame must be done solidly so that you can enjoy the curls from 8 to a maximum of 12 weeks.
  • Your natural hair must be at least 10 cm and a maximum of mid-back length.
  • This is a total saving for natural hair. They just rest under the curls
  • Synthetic can be used for 8-10 weeks with proper care
  • The technique is non-invasive, but keep in mind that you will naturally lose 100-150 hairs every day anyway. And when you remove the curls, you see them all at once, which does not mean that they have fallen out through the hair attachments

CONTRAINDICATIONS TO PUTTING ON AFROLOCKS ARE ALSO

  • Psoriasis, Diabetes.
  • hypothyroidism / hyperthyroidism
  • infectious diseases
  • syphilis
  • pituitary gland diseases
  • hyperfunction of the adrenal cortex
  • If you have excessive scalp sensitivity, you should not decide to apply Afro curls.
  • If you experience pain while someone is braiding your hair …you should also not opt for Afro curls….
  • Patience, will it be a big difficulty for you to wait about 7 to 10 hours for the final result?
  • That’s how long the application takes and the process cannot be rushed.
  • After the entire application is done, we go through “shock”. No matter what color AND type of curl you choose …. tiny, big curls or waves – if you don’t like change, don’t opt for afro curls either.
  • The effect of afro curls cannot be compared to perms. The name “afro” indicates the style of the hairstyle. It is a large volume of hair with quite a lot of curls…. It also has nothing to do with extensions hair. We do not attach a few strands here. The effect is more pronounced!
  • The application of afro curls is a big change. Braids appear on the head, followed by curls.
  • – There is a “pulling” of the skin, a discomfort that passes after 2 to max 3 days.
  • – Are you not durable? Do not opt for Afro.
  • You must be aware that the first night after the application of curls can be hard

      Another important consideration is any Allergies.

      Synthetic hair is coated with various chemicals during processing:
      – although very rare, sensitization, itching of the skin, small pimples, scabs can occur.
      You can try to deal with this problem with a mixture of water and apple cider vinegar, but more info on priv;)

      If you have experienced any of the following in the last 2 months,
      – difficult life situations, death of a loved one, breakups, loss of a job, undergone an operation at which NARCOSIS was used
      – you have just given birth or stopped breastfeeding
      postpone the application of Afro curls for several months.

      Side effect after applying Afro curls:

      • Hair problems after Afro curls application can also occur if you have accompanying diseases, viz:
      • – Folliculitis: – pustules, red dots may appear. This is quite natural, because the hair has never been styled in this way. The braids themselves stretch the skin, so inflammation can appear. This inconvenience should disappear within a week at most . It is necessary to maintain greater than usual hygiene of such areas.
      • You can use Tribiotic or other ointments, creams, antibacterial spray.
      • If you have inflammatory skin lesions, healing wounds, surgical wounds – unfortunately, the application of curls is not possible.
      • If there are skin lesions, scalp diseases application is not advisable.

      Remember that with any of the above situations do not leave you alone, we try to work together to solve a possible problem, if it arises, because it does not have to at all ;).

      • Japanese extension is a method without using glue or other chemical liquids. For Japanese extensions we use only synthetic hair of very good quality resembling human hair and braiding skills.
      • First and foremost, this method does not damage your natural hair as the weight of the hair extensions is matched to the thickness of your natural hair. This method is not recommended for people who have very thin hair, as the bonds are likely to shine through. The best solution is to make an appointment for a consultation where we will be able to check the condition of your natural hair and suggest the appropriate service so that your hair grows healthy.
